2020 Transition Workshop – online session

The 2020 Transition Workshops will be conducted via Zoom on May 16 and May 30. Pastors and transition teams from each church with changes in pastoral leadership can attend either workshop by computer or phone. These workshops replace the in-person sessions previously announced.   Changing pastors is part of the connectional life of The United Methodist Church. These workshops will give pastors and churches changing appointments this year important information to facilitate a smooth transition.   Full-time churches and pastors are required to attend; part-time churches and pastors are strongly encouraged to attend. A transition team, composed of members of the congregation (as well as SPRC members) is expected to attend.   Support materials for the sessions can be found here.
