Prop 5 has become Article 22 – a proposed amendment for Vermont’s Constitution. It will be on the ballot this November. If approved, Article 22 will have profound effects and ramifications for parents, families, health care providers and their conscience rights, hospitals, the court system, religious institutions, and all Vermont taxpayers.
Come learn from a panel of experts about Article 22 and its ethical and practical aspects. The panel will speak on Saturday, August 20 from 9:30 to noon. Location: Fr. Joseph Lively Center, Summer St. and Winter St. in St. Johnsbury.
The presentation will include some scriptural background, moral, practical, and parental concerns, some of the history on this amendment. The amendment as proposed goes beyond abortion. And the legislators know it.

Presenters will be:

Matthew Strong, Executive Director, Vermonters for Good Government
Carol Kauffman of Vermont Family Alliance
Sharon Toborg, Public Policy Analyst, Vermont Right to Life.
