BRATTLEBORO, VT – The Windham County Branch of the NAACP is pleased to announce its first Annual Freedom Fund Dinner to be held on Saturday, November 16 at 5:00 p.m. at the American Legion, 32 Linden Street, Brattleboro, VT. The keynote speaker will be Jonathan Smith, executive director of Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs. The special guest will be, yes, you guessed it, our bishop, the Rt. Rev. Reverend Shannon MacVean-Brown! The Episcopal Church in Vermont will be one of several event sponsors and will represented at the dinner. Those interested in attending are encouraged to purchase a ticket or table asap! Individual tickets are $65 per person. A table of 8 can be purchased for $520.
