The Diocese of Burlington is excited to announce that from April 4-6 we will host our third annual Young Adult Retreat at Saint Anne’s Shrine in Isle La Motte. The retreat begins at 6:30 PM on Friday, April 4 and lasts until 11:30 AM on Sunday, April 6. It is open to young adults, aged 18-39 years old.
The theme of the retreat is Hope and Healing. During this Lenten season, we invite you to enter a space for prayer and reflection focused on healing from spiritual, emotional, and physical pain.
We are blessed to welcome Father Lance Harlow, Derek George, and Sharon Trani who will help to guide us in our time together.
Father Harlow will host a healing Adoration service during the retreat. This will be a beautiful opportunity for us to lay our ailments at the feet of Jesus, seeking His love and mercy.
Derek and Sharon are both counselors from Vermont Catholic Charities. They will provide insight on how to start your healing journey and the process of healing, providing much food for thought for our time together and after we depart.
Since we are in the midst of the Jubilee of Hope, we will keep our eyes set on Jesus, not just as our Divine Physician, but also as our Bright Morning Star, lighting the path toward our future.
The retreat will feature chances to meet new people and build community, free time to explore and pray around the Shrine grounds, all-night Adoration, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass on both Saturday and Sunday, fun activities, bonding moments, and much more.
We invite you to come heal and hope together.
The cost is $100 per person, which includes lodging for 2 nights and 4 meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday).
If you have any questions, please reach out to our Diocesan Youth and Young Adult Minister, Isaac Desranleau (idesranleau@vermontcatholic.org).
