Celebrating Small Churches Panel Discussion and Group Conversation This gathering may be held by Zoom depending on health restrictions at that time. We will keep you informed. As more clergy appointments become half-time or less, our local churches increasingly rely on leadership from lay people. Several part-time or local pastors from Vermont churches, as well as author, Pastor G. Jeffrey Macdonald (“Part-Time Is Plenty”), are anticipated panelists. They will cover such topics such as: what do small churches do well? what advantages do small churches have over large ones? how can small churches manage both pastoral and lay needs and expectations? Questions from Zoom attendees will be solicited and discussed by the panelists during the latter half of the workshop. Expect to hear more information in August regarding registration for this event. Join the conversation! All are welcome. Sponsored by the Vermont District Lay Ministry Group
