Peace is Powerful: A Workshop Series to Inspire Hope

The Winooski Peace Initiative is sponsoring a three part series on Non-Violence presented by Dr. John Reuwer at the Winooski Senior Center.
1. Mindfulness
2. Non-violent communication
3. Non-violent action.
Dr. Reuwer practiced emergency, primary care, and occupational medicine for 37 years, which gave him the opportunity to adapt nonviolent communication to promote human well-being. He has been studying, practicing, and teaching alternatives to violence for over 30 years. He is currently adjunct professor of conflict resolution at St. Michael’s College in Vermont where he teaches courses in nonviolent communication and nonviolent action
