Potluck & Prayer Series

Have you been feeling a nudge to spend more time in prayer lately, but you’re not sure what else there is to say? Or perhaps you feel like your prayer time has recently been getting stale? Or maybe you’ve heard about different methods, devotions, and approaches to prayer and wondered how they work and whether you’d feel like they were a good fit for you?  Well, we can help! June 1, 2, and 3, St John Vianney parish is hosting a series that looks at different ways to pray. Each night, we will begin in the downstairs Church Hall with a potluck at 5:30 PM and then have a brief talk about different spiritual disciplines we can use to get closer to God. Join us for one, two, or all three of the sessions!
On Sunday, June 1, Sr Paul Mary, FSE will present “the Battle of Prayer.”
On Monday, June 2, Fr Tim will present “Praying with the Psalms” 
On Tuesday, June 3, Fr. Tim will present “Bible Canticles and the Liturgy of the Hours”
Each nightly presentation will be 45 minutes.
We’d love to see you there.  If you’re able to come, please let us know by signing up on our website to bring a dish to the potluck. (If you cannot attend, recordings of the talks will be shared at a later date).
